Santa's Little Hackers Event

On December 7th, HWI's Senior Firmware Engineer, David Stotz, participated for the second year with Santa's Little Hackers. This volunteer effort is a seasonal toy drive with the mission to adapt the toys by making simple modifications to the electronics of the toys, in order to give them away. These adaptations make the toys accessible to individuals with limited fine motor skills and physical abilities so they can enjoy the toy and play independently.

Santa's Little Hackers is an annual event put on by MaxMods. MaxMods is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation chartered to 'make the world accessible for all' by identifying adaptations and modifications to make the world work for individuals living with disabilities.
